Grotesque 2022
Grotesque is a 3D SCAD Senior Film currently in production and will be finished in Spring 2022. I am the main character artist and also in charge of the look development of the film in which I am responsible for the creation of the texturing and lighting style. I will have more to show once the film comes out.
I Created uv's and textures for main characters with Maya and Substance Painter.
We ended up using the UDIM process for uving to get the highest quality textures on our main characters.
I also modeled and Sculpted the gargoyle in Zbrush and Maya.
I uved and textured all props and environments shown. Almost all props were textured through substance painter and the used a custom version of maya's aitoon shader.
I was the lead Lighting Artist and Compositor. I help everyone on the team when there was issues. I also was responsible for keeping the lighting and coloring consistent throughout the short film.
